General Star Management Co. has launched an insurance agents and brokers E&O program, which will be offered through the National Specialty Programs unit of All Risks, Ltd., located Hunt Valley, MD. All Risks will be the exclusive program administrator for this new national facility.
Specialized coverage features include reputation protection, data privacy breach – notification assistance, and protection for exclusive independent contractors. Written on a claims-made and reported form, the policy has the option to provide coverage for carrier insolvency to qualified applicants, as well as a Predecessors and Successors in Business provision. Limits are available up to $5 million/$5 million.
Coverage will be written by General Star Indemnity Co. or General Star National Insurance Co. Both companies are rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and carry an AA+ Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Standard & Poor’s Corporation. Coverage will be written on a non-admitted basis in all states except Alaska and Louisiana.
