General Star has expanded distribution of its repossession operations product. The coverage, formerly available on a limited basis, is now accessible to all appointed General Star wholesale brokers. This product is available on a non-admitted basis in all states, and is written on a comprehensive general liability form.
The repossession operations product offers coverage for collateral recovery on a primary and excess basis. Coverage is available for operations involved in the repossession of automobiles. Other property such as watercraft, trucks, construction equipment and mobile homes are also eligible for this program.
Basic features include:
- General liability coverage, including coverage while collateral is being repossessed and coverage for wrongful repossession
- Garage keepers coverage on a direct primary or legal liability basis, including in-tow/on-hook
