Republican Report Backs Incentives for Corporate Cybersecurity

    I am skeptical about any government intrusion into this issue. Whatever they touch, they screw it up for business. Get out of our way and reduce regulation.

      The report also noted skepticism “with the exception of critical facilities like nuclear power, electricity, chemical and water treatment plants.”

      I agree with you that most businesses should decide for themselves what kind of cyber defenses they need, but I have to disagree with you that “any” governmental regulation on this issue is bad. National defense should never be left for corporations to self-regulate. The first priority of our government is to provide for the national defense.
