But in the event of a terrorist chemical or biological attack, duck tape your windows! LOL

Sky is Falling! Sky is Falling! And this message is brought to you by the father of the: $7.00 light bulb; $4.00+ gasoline; not to mention Obama Care… Sure the best way is barricading the windows; or new impact resistant windows, but let;s face it in these economic times how many people can afford to go out and buy these new windows when they are just trying to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. Plywwod ‘barricade’ materials go up in price when the alarm is sounded and the supplies go away. So, is tape a good idea? No, it is not the best, but were one to use 100 mph Tape and apply liberally, it just may save the cost of replacing the glass after the storm. If you must tape the windows, do not stay in the same room with the windows and preferrably at least to interior walls away from the windows, and stay flat on the floor. Then Vote Republican, won’t stop the hurricanes, but it will at least lessen the shit storm from Washington.

Maybe folks in risk-prone areas should buy their plywood panels ‘now’, pre-cut and pre-drill them for attachment when needed in a flash.

And please curb the foul language. Edit for content as well as context.

“If nothing else, Irene reminds everyone that hurricanes are all hazards,”

Really? Hurricanes with 60 to 100mph + winds are Hazards? Wow… Never would have known…
