Willis Global Captive Practice, part of the global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has launched an online underwriting and data management system, WillisCaptus.
The new system is designed for Risk Retention Groups (RRG), captives and health care providers to allow them to securely manage their data and develop underwriting information more efficiently.
WillisCaptus combines customizable online access with the ability to handle thousands of records. It is designed to drive efficiencies in underwriting and insurance program documentation by eliminating paperwork and issues with file maintenance and storage.
America’s second largest Catholic health care system, the Catholic Healthcare Initiatives (CHI), which operates in 19 states with a total of 76 hospitals and $10.5 billion in revenue, is among the first of several clients to sign up to the system. CHI uses WillisCaptus to cover medical malpractice and professional liability insurance lines.
WillisCaptus provides data management for captives, risk retention groups, hospitals, medical centers, physicians and physician groups, nursing homes, dentists and dental groups, lawyers and law firms, government entities, religious institutions, contractors and various types of professional and trade organizations. WillisCaptus is in use with over 100 healthcare systems nationwide providing data management facilities for thousands of healthcare providers.
