The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) has named Steve Norton as its new director, executive communications.
Prior to joining PCI, Norton was the communications director for the Information Technology Foundation, an economic and technology policy think tank. Previously, he served as speechwriter for U.S. Trade Representatives Rob Portman and Susan Schwab. As a journalist, he covered taxes, trade and other economic policy issues for Congressional Quarterly and National Journal’s Congress Daily. Earlier in his career he served as a legislative assistant for U.S. Reps. Terry L. Bruce (D-Ill.) and Barbara B. Kennelly (D-Conn.).
