Aspen US Insurance has named Douglas Menelly as senior vice president of marketing.
He will report to Bob Rheel, executive vice president and U.S. head of property/casualty for Aspen Insurance.
Menelly joins Aspen with 14 years’ experience in communications, market research, messaging and branding in the financial services, insurance and technology industries. He comes to Aspen from American International Group, where he was responsible for global communications for the financial lines insurance division. Prior to AIG, he spent five years in China, working for technology firms in investor relations, communications and business development roles. Menelly began his insurance career as a management liability broker.
