IFG Cos. has added Andrew M. Shrout as managing director for its bind insurance business.
Shrout will be based in Chicago and Atlanta, and will be a member of the bind leadership team that establishes and implements the new strategy of IFG’s contract bind insurance business.
Shrout joins IFG from Tower Group International, where he served as managing vice president of marketing strategy and analytics. Previously, he was vice president for strategy and finance in the home appliance division at Sears Holdings Corp.
He also has held operational roles at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co., and has worked at The Hartford Financial Services Group as a director of property/casualty strategic initiatives and as a consultant at Reagan Consulting Inc.
Shrout has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
