Columbia, S.C.-based Dovetail Insurance, a supplier of cloud-based insurance products for agents and brokers, is offering a MetLife Business Owners Policy (BOP) through its NetBOP Insurance Portal in five states: California, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio.
The company said retail agents appointed in December will be eligible for bonus compensation for all risks quoted in December and January 2015.
Dovetail offers BOPs for small and mid-sized businesses Main Street-type risks. More than 300 class codes are available on its NetBOP Portal. MetLife’s BOP, which includes property, liability and business interruption insurance, offers coverage for a range of classes including franchised restaurants and licensed contractors.
Agents may quote, issue and bind right from the NetBOP portal, which prices and issues new policies in real time.
Dovetail said its programs are admitted in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and are underwritten by A.M. Best “A” rated companies.
