“I may not be on the ballot, but my policies are, every single one of them.”

What a line of BS. You not only lost Obama (you and every single one of your policies), but you got your ass kicked. Are you blind? Do you know how to read? Or are you a blithering moron? And a flaming liar?

In 2008, your side got their ass kicked even harder, yet no one on your side seemed to acknowledge it. Quite the opposite, in fact. Why would you expect him to be any different than any other president whose party lost a midterm?

“Our side” never made such an arrogant declaration just prior to the election. Oh and this one. “Elections have consequences.” Unless of course I lose as I am almighty – Obama.

There is a big difference between “our side” and that pompous ass Obama.

Yes, elections do have consequences. You’re stuck with the consequences of 2012. Better luck in 2016.

Obama finally came to his senses but way to late in the game. ISIS should never have been allowed to get this big. Period.

Always, did you see the story on Townhall about Obama and his operatives working to get Netanyahu ousted in Israel. I think their nose is slightly out of joint that he is coming to speak in Congress so they are providing operatives and money to campaign against him in the next election. To say the relationship with Israel and this country is frosty is putting it mildly. It should be an interesting speech detailing what is going on in the Middle East and the peril that Israel is facing.

            Hi Agent,

No, I didn’t see the story on Townhall regarding Obama and his operatives trying to oust Netanyahu but is has been all over FB. Obama threw Israel under the buss not long after he got elected and everyone who voted for him knew it. Sadly, a lot of Jews voted for him. I wonder if their loyalty to the Democratic party still holds true. The last election does seem to suggest otherwise. With Iran getting very close to having nuclear power it’s not only Israel that needs to have their guard up. Have you heard that ISIS put their Japanese hostage in a cage and set the poor guy of fire because Japan wouldn’t pay the ransom? If Obama had any brains he’d be getting a coalition together with Israel and Japan and start blowing ISIS of the face of the Earth. However, he’ll never call them a terrorist organization and he’ll never be the leader he was meant to be because he has no backbone. All a part of his plan. He wants to be known as the president that didn’t start any wars and the one who closed gitmo and unleashed all the top notch terrorists so they could go back to where they came from and plot the USAs demise.

The funny thing is the City was working on putting in a new sewer pipe in at almost the end of our block, the hole was almost finished, just needed the gravel and back top put on – wouldn’t you know the salt tuck along with another car fell right in it. Not sure how they could have not seen it – the city had horses blocking it.

If his policies have been so damaging, how did he get re-elected and the Democrats were able to gain seats in the House and Senate in 2012?

Dumb voters, uncontested lies by the liberal media.

Remember the debate where Obama lied about what he said in the Rose Garden concerning the Benghazi attacks? And then Candy Crawley stepped in and supported his lie? Obvious media bias which slammed the brakes on the debate and the Romney campaign. But when bias goes your way, you rarely notice it do you? Crawley later apologized for being incorrect. Too late, the intended damage was done.

There are dumb voters and lies, from both sides, in all elections. You need to open your eyes to the evils of both the Democrats and Republicans. Neither party cares about you or helping the country.

If you think anybody voted for President Obama because of a single issue during a single debate, you are too naive to debate.

Ron, tell me the name of any Republican President who upon coming into office declared he would have the most transparent administration EVER and then proceeded to do the exact opposite. From the Fast & Furious cover-up, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the Obamacare lies, I can go on and on. http://townhall.com/columnists/michellemalkin/2013/06/05/the-most-transparent-administration-ever-lol-n1613004

That person does not exist. Being from Chicago and being flooded by the political swamp from whence Obama came, nothing surprises me. What surprises me is the idiocy of the electorate, but it was helped by the far left main stream media. Again Ron, name the Republican President who made such a claim and proceeded to do the opposite.

If you read the history of my posts you would know that I have criticized him for several issues, especially Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the PPACA, and anytime he has either lied or misinformed the citizens.

What upsets me is how the Republicans do not realize that the reason President Obama weas elected, then re-elected, was because the Republican nominee was worse. I have stated multiple times that if Senator McCain selected a competent running mate we would never had President Obama. If Jon Huntsman was the nominee, President Obama would not have been re-elected.

You believe Palin was less competent than Obama?

The Jr. Senator with next to no experience whatsoever?

Is this I wonder, due to some sort of sexism you have? The image that democrat successfully gave due to her odd accent? Maybe because she didn’t meet societal norms?

It could not have been her level of expertise. McCain was one of the few people who suggested changes to the housing market. He was a good running mate.

We lost in 08′ because democrats are better at lying and flame wars, and they lied about Iraq. That’s about it.

Democrats and republicans are not equal. False equivalency is by far my least favorite aspect of you.

Republicans do care. It is why they are anti abortion, despite knowing it is a losing battle.

There are some in the party who are bad. But overall, no. They are not a bad party, whereas democrats provably are.

If you can defend Sarah Palin, then you are not worth debating. Even the Conservatives have been walking away from her. She is a lunatic, nut-job. I believe the people we elect to our higher offices should have social graces of which she has shown zero signs of having.

I think both Republicans and Democrats are terrible. If you think any of them care about you or what you care about you are sadly mistaken. They only care about their own careers and their donors.

This is why we need term limits and 100% public funding of elections. Until that happens, Republicans=Democrats. You can argue ideology until you are blue in the face. Their actions are way too similar for my taste. Neither party is willing to compromise, neither actually cares about fiscal responsibility, neither will do any real spending cuts, neither really cares about social issues. Both parties atalk a good game, but I care about action.

He let Crowley off the hook too easy as well. Then, he disappeared the last week of the election and didn’t do media interviews. His strategy obviously failed being Mr. Nice Guy. Romney was not a great choice from the perspective of conservatives, but he was from the perspective of moderates, (or should have been) indefinitely.

Us conservatives didn’t like him for differing reasons (namely his position on abortion).

This idea that there are people like you and Dave who are “correct” and the people who disagree with you who are leftist Progressives (run for the hills, the Progressives are coming!) only reinforces the tired idea (fueled by both parties, the media, and special interests) that there is an insurmountable divide in this country. Part of it is off year elections. I’ll equate it to baseball. For baseball to succeed it needs not only serious fans like me, but the casual fans. Those who know little about baseball but like “the experience” or like the old ballpark, but are not too bothered by what’s going on on field, or know what an ERA or RBI is. So I go to a game nowadays and to compete the team has to attract those who know little about the game and sit around me and bother me.

Off year elections are similar in that only serious voters come out. The casual voter who knows little about politics, economics or cannot find Russia or Iran on a map stay home. During Presidential elections their mindlessness is swayed by sayings such as Hope & Change. If you’re too dumb to figure that out, then I know what camp you fall into.

Why not just say people who don’t agree with you should have their voting rights repealed? You might even be able to get that passed in an off-year election.

            An easy answer Other:

Because when democrats win, it is generally by manipulating stupidity, whereas when Republicans win, it is generally by trying to end it.

An example: Iraq (best lie and manipulation for politics I have seen in at least 50 years), 2008 melt down (well done.), Obama trying to assault Romney based on whether or not he would have supported the bail out, all areas of stupidity.

It is not a contradiction. You are once again trying false equivalency.

Hey Jack, I saw a funny but true comment on the internet on the subject of minimum wage McDonald’s workers wanting $15 per hour.

For those fast food employees striking for $15 per hour, let’s do some math. At $15 per hour, Johnny Fry-boy would make $31,200 annually. An E-1(Private) in the military makes $18,378. An E-5 Sargeant with 8 years service makes $35,067. So you are telling me Sally McBurgerflipper, that you deserve as much as those kids getting shot at, deploying for months in hostile environments, and putting their collective A$$es on the line every day protecting your unskilled butt! Here’s the deal Baconator, you are working in a job designed for a kid in high school who is learning how to work and earning enough for gas, and hanging out with their equally goofy high school pals. If you have chosen this as your lifelong profession, you have failed. If you don’t want minimum wage, don’t have minimum skills.

Robert, unfortunately, many of the bloggers on this site are employees of companies or brokers and agree with the leftist Progressive mantra. Agents like myself are Conservatives who put them in their place. I am not sure there are many intelligent college graduates these days to enter the agency business.

Just calling them as I see them Ron. You don’t like the truth much. Isn’t it you who always act so shocked when info comes out that doesn’t fit your belief system? You claim before everyone that you are an Independent. If you are, I am shocked that you don’t join other Independents who give Obama the same low marks Republicans do. All I ever get from you is that you have disagreed with “some” of his policies. You should be outraged.

By the way, the latest gaffe prior to the Superbowl. The President is proud to be making beer in the White House. He said that George Washington made beer in the White House. The only thing wrong with that is that there was no White House when Washington was President.

Hey Ron – as a fellow Independent, I would like to thank you for having your own mind and deciding how you feel on various topics regardless of what any political party believes.

…after all, if all Independents believed it was wise to jump off a bridge into shark-infested waters, you don’t have to follow suit just because you’re an Independent. That theory works for all parties: you can be a Dem or Repub and disagree with any of your party’s beliefs and still consider yourself a Dem or Repub.

Ron is famous for sifting through information available on candidates and then voting for Obama. That is the very definition of Progressive Independent. So what if you are disgusted with both parties and both have barnacles. If you can’t tell who stands for Progressivism and who stands for Free Market enterprise and Conservative solutions to problems facing America, then you have a big problem with your intellect.

You have made it so there is an impossibility that he can ever question your voting habits, whereas you can question his often.

In saying that your choice was bad, it by default, has to be a choice he didn’t support.

For God’s sakes, you really are showing your true colors, as well as ignorance.

There is right and wrong. Let’s just accept that. One party is better than the other. Let’s just accept that, until it changes.

And as for the arrogance here between you and Ron:

Neither of you have your own mind. You disregard good politics, due to equally disregarding all politics.

False equivalency. It is always that.

When republicans and democrats block bills they are equally bad, so the republicans trying to repeal the healthcare act we put in place must be bad right?

Republicans and democrats are equally bad, so when republicans do something you want (tax cuts, spending cuts) they are equally as bad as democrats unless they pass the opposite of what you want in a compromise (in other words, your false equivalency will not allow spending cuts and tax cuts to occur).

You are basically people who like to be contradictory (not to be confused with people who like to actually question things with a legitimate reason, you question it for often no purpose other than false equivalency), not moderates.

In the healthcare one I assumed you would know what I mean:

Neither of you want the healhtcare act in place, neither of you want it repealed in the name of trying to use false equivalency to say that republicans would be playing politics in voting on it currently, what you would consider to make them corrupt.

So the timing on voting on it is the issue there then…And it makes little to no sense. Voting on an issue is often solely with the concept of keeping the issue alive, so people will vote based on it to get the item done.

How many others are there I wonder?

What is the point in being a moderate, if you can’t get crap in place? If you can’t vote in a manner to get what you want?

Clearly, your voting is the issue. Clearly, your methods are the issue, and aren’t getting you what you want. And you blame both sides for all issues, when you don’t get a single issue. The problem here is to get that single issue, you need to allow a side to do it. You can’t blame a side when you refuse them the ability to do what you want.

I’m sorry Rosenblatt, are you still on the “you don’t know me” argument?

I do know Ron’s position on the matter. I included you both as you are both similar.

The way Ron votes indefinitely goes against getting what he wants.

The fact that you think of both parties as exactly equal is ignorance. End of story. They are not exactly equal.

You both don’t like the healthcare law if I’m not mistaken. But you both are not ok with republicans repealing it.

You didn’t vote for the republicans who had alternate ideas during that election, and hold them responsible for both the passage of the healthcare law, and the inability to remove it.

By making everything “equal” and refusing to put the proper party at fault, you are BOTH single handidly responsible for the stimulus, for the taxing and spending going on with Obama, and for the healthcare law you don’t support.

If you voted the other way, we would not have had a stimulus. We would not have had that healthcare law you don’t support.

I know it’s hard to admit that you vote like an idiot. But you do.

You solely want to believe both parties are equal to believe you vote better informed than other idiots (like Agent).

You aren’t special. Get over it.

Right now republicans are the way to go.

Dividing the vote, divides the ability to get things done.

“The fact that you think of both parties as exactly equal is ignorance. End of story. They are not exactly equal.”

I NEVER SAID THIS. I SAID BOTH PARTIES HAVE ISSUES AND SOME OF THOSE ISSUES ARE THE SAME. I NEVER SAID THEY WERE EQUAL.

“You both don’t like the healthcare law if I’m not mistaken.”

YOU ARE MISTAKEN. I LIKE THE LAW. YOU DON’T KNOW ME.

I DON’T HOLD THE REPUBLICANS RESPONSIBLE FOR ACA PASSING. ALSO, I SAID I DIDN’T VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT, BUT I DID VOTE FOR REPUBLICANS. AGAIN, YOU SAYING I DIDN’T VOTE REPUBLICAN IS WRONG – YOU DON’T KNOW ME.

“By making everything “equal” and refusing to….”

AGAIN. YOU ASSUME I THINK THE TWO PARTIES ARE EQUAL. I NEVER SAID THAT. I DON’T THINK THAT. YOU’RE WRONG HERE TOO.

“I know it’s hard to admit that you vote like an idiot. But you do.”

SINCE I VOTED REPUBLICAN LAST ELECTION, APPARENTLY YOU AND AGENT VOTED LIKE IDIOTS TOO.

“You solely want to believe both parties are equal..”

WRONG. I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS.

Listen bob. This is the 3rd time I am asking something VERY simple of you: DON’T TELL ME WHAT I BELIEVE OR WHAT I THINK.

Clearly you’re way off base on your assumptions, so just stop assuming things about me and not taking my words at face value and we’ll be fine. Simple.

I just don’t understand the way of the world. Republicans/conservatives place the blame on Obama for everything and anything. It’s his fault that the world is falling apart. Yet, the same folks are constantly moaning about “government interference” in all aspects of day to day living.
The many of the loudest critics of the way the war of terror is being fought never served day one in the fight. They know not the consequences and repurcussions our troops suffer under upon coming home. Yet there call is for more troops all over the world. The American Sniper suffered mightily for his service.
Frankly, I am tired of all of it. Let’s bring the troops home and let those in the far off places just eradicate themselves. Oops,I forgot about the oil!!! Yes children, oil is why we are trapped in this mess. If there was no oil in the middle east, where would we be? Deep in the heart of TX, ND, OH, PA, ad infintum

Vietnam was far bloodier that Iraq and Afghanistan has been. Veterans were then spat upon when they returned home, called baby killers and every other vile name.

I do agree that we can do without Middle East oil because we have more than they do in proven reserves and it should be fully developed so we can thumb our nose at the shieks. All we have to do is get this President off the industry’s back and go drill it. Drill, baby, drill.
