Never let a good tragedy go to waste. The progressives never miss a chance to extend government over-reach and control more aspects of our lives. You can’t prevent bad people from doing bad things. Even our military systems are getting hacked by evil people. These events are going to happen. I understand that attempting to standardize the approach to what should be done after they happen sounds like a good idea, but why does the government have to then go in and “regulate” the process. Set a standard and hold people to a standard. I know that is what God did with the 10 Commandments and look how abused those standards are today. Go back to my original premise – bad people are going to do bad things. Punish the perpetrators and not the victims. Spend more time catching the bad guys than regulating the good guys.
Robert, it is kind of like gun control. Take everyone’s guns away because of some nut jobs going on a killing spree. Those gun free zones have really prevented some mass murderers, haven’t they?
What Obama really wants is Net Neutrality so he can control the internet, get sites taken down that don’t agree with his agenda.
