I put on a hat last night. Am I “basically” Don Draper, too?

I guess IJ needed something a little bit sexy in the story to make it seem interesting.

Insurance, I’m guessing you either didn’t watch the segment, or are too young to remember that time in America – or perhaps both. But had you watched it, you might have a better appreciation of why IJ chose to air it: a fascinating, “inside account” of a unique time in our country.

Anyone thinking this is the truth ought to read NYTimes article, Dec. 31, 2016 on Nixon’s Treachery and HR Haldeman’s role in scuttling the peace effort underway by then President Johnson, in order to get Nixon elected (a peace accord would have helped Nixon’s Democratic opponent). While we will never know if the war would have ended sooner, with Johnson’s peace accord, we DO know that candidate Nixon did interfere with that accord, with the help of this man Haldeman. That act in itself is treasonous, interfering in state affairs as a private citizen. It has shades of what is happening in govt today with all these corporate executives knowing nothing of civic affairs and ruining our country. Sorry but this is a shameful promotion on behalf of Insurance and i would strongly suggest you NOT aggrandize this criminal Haldeman no matter how decent his son might be. The dad was and remains a horror.

It amazes me how liberals use “facts” from sources, such as the NYT to support their arguments. The preceding president had Nixon’s campaign plane bugged, along with others, but no one cares about that fact. Why? He was a liberal. If you want to care about something, care about Trump, and how his administration will expose the corruption on steroids perpetuated by the Obama administration, along with the treasonous acts of the Clintons, driven by greed and immorality. They make Nixon look like a saint.

I recall reading a magazine article long before Watergate on Haldeman and his family, it was either Time, Newsweek or another similar magazine, they depicted the perfect Nixon administration family, I tried to find it but had no luck, perhaps someone else would be able to find it.
