Beazley has launched of a new risk management website for Beazley Breach Response (BBR) policyholders. The site offers tools and resources to help insureds prepare for and respond to a data breach and minimize reputational risk.
In 2012, Beazley formed its breach preparedness and response group, BBR Services, a dedicated in-house team of experts that focuses exclusively on risk management and best practices of data privacy, security, and breach response.
BBR Services is responsible for the coordination of all the response services a BBR policyholder may require following a data breach, forensic, legal, notification and credit monitoring services to satisfy all legal requirements. To date, Beazley has helped clients handle more than 2,200 data breaches.
According to Katherine Keefe, global head BBR Services the enhanced risk management website provides clients with the necessary resources to prepare for a data breach and mitigate its effects.
