Uber Expected to Ride Out Employee Ruling, Maintain High Valuation

    I think Uber’s decision to outlaw guns for both drivers and passengers might hurt them more. Passengers won’t ride them because many of them are in high crime areas where they feel safe only if they have protection on them. The drivers will be in danger because criminals know they are unprotected and an easy prey for carjacking or robbery. This will have less impact in California, Chicago and New York since they are governed by anti-gun fanatics. It will have a greater impact in the real world.
