Travelers has enhanced its product offering for contractors by combining professional liability and pollution liability coverages. The product now offers additional protection against environmental damage caused by design errors.
According to Adrienne Atwell, chief underwriting officer for Travelers Environmental & Contractors Professional Practice, said the update reduces financial exposure to pollution or professional liabilities by addressing potential gaps that can exist when contractors purchase these liability coverages separately.
The updated contractors professional and pollution liability coverage from Travelers will be available effective March 15, 2016 to construction customers countrywide through surplus lines agents. In addition to expanded coverage, customers also have access to risk control and claim professionals at Travelers.
