Navigators Management Co., a division of the specialty insurance holding company The Navigators Group, has hired David Pesce to launch a new Contract and Commercial Surety department.
Based in Iselin, New Jersey, Pesce will initially focus on contract and commercial surety in the small and middle market segments as well as environmental surety.
Pesce has a background encompassing contract surety, commercial surety and environmental surety. He joins Navigators from AXIS Insurance where he led the expansion of AXIS’ surety division. Prior to AXIS, he spent seven years at Berkley Surety Group. Pesce began his career at Seaboard Surety Co. and has held positions at Reliance Surety Co., Liberty Mutual Surety and Crum & Forster Insurance.
