JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), reports it has added Kathryn Carroll as senior vice president.
Based in New York, Carroll will be focused on two specialty areas: Energy, including Heavy Chemicals, and Financial Institutions. She is experienced in complex risk management accounts within these industries.
Carroll brings to JLT Specialty USA 25 years of experience in the property,casualty insurance industry where she worked for both international insurance brokers and insurance carriers in senior underwriting positions.
She joins JLT from Arthur J. Gallagher, where as an area executive vice president she served as the manager of the Risk Management department. Prior to AJG, she was a senior vice president at Marsh where she held various roles including senior casualty advisor and risk management casualty manager. She began her career as a commercial underwriter at Fireman’s Fund.
