After 15 years, Hank Greenburch and Howard Smith has finally admitted to fraud and wrong-doing during the transactions with GenRe and Capco. The penalty of $9 million is a drop in the bucket for good old Hank. I’m amazed that he doesn’t need to do any jail-time for his actions while leading-on the authorities! Hank’s management decisions has really contributed to the 2008-2009 financial crisis! Hank is now currently appealing his lawsuit with the US Government for billions! At 92, he should retire and stop the corruption!

Perhaps the government should leave him alone. He summed it up in the article. NY spent a ridiculous amount of $$$ fighting him, and he agrees to a $9.9 million fine. Meanwhile, billions of dollars were lost because they made him leave AIG, when he alone would have saved AIG from going broke and losing all that value.
