Hooray for Price, and for the lower prices to (eventually) follow from repeal of ACA and replacement of it with dozens of bills to address costs (price) of health insurance!\\\\
Attention, Libitterals! The repeal and replacement will not be immediate as the budget process will be involved and budgets rarely go through Congress smoothly. I anticipate Lie-a-watha, Dirty Grandpa from Vermont, Schmucky Schumer, Al Frankenfraud, and a few other co-stars in Hollyweird to oppose the budgeting process, thus delaying R&R of ACA. So, your incessant calls for ‘a plan’ will be duly and rightly ignored by me, from this point forward.
Polar, I have read that our new HHS Dr. Price knows more about healthcare than anyone in the US. He will need to be sharp in order to get it fixed, but he is smart, not a political hack like Sebelius.
He’s much smarter than Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Schmucky Schumer, Al Frankenfraud, and some other Congressional libbies. But those aren’t good benchmarks to impress anyone.
The latest word is mid-March to early April is the range of the ETA for release of the REPUBLICAN COMPOSITE PLAN. This is the word from ‘someone in politics’ who has experience as a published critic of Hillary’s Health Care Plan from 1993… who will be traveling to the Washington Swamp tomorrow (2/16/17) to huddle with Price and other Republicans on the issues, including cost savings methods / legislation.
That didn’t matter one iota to Nancy Pelosi Galore. Why should Republicans in charge give you better treatment, especially when you voted for Libbie / Socialists?

Polar, there is one liberal from NY on this blog who would be proud of his Senator for trying to block anything and everything being brought forward by our new President. He thinks he is politically astute, but admitted he voted for the “former” Potus twice. How is that even possible?
Polar, how about a little humor for the day? Trump is going to paint a picture of Nancy Pelosi Galore on the warheads of the cruise missiles and bombs he will drop on ISIS. If it doesn’t go off, it will still scare the terrorists to death.
@Ron; We will give you the ‘Pelosi treatment’ going forward. Y’know; we won’t tell you what we are doing and won’t reply to your request to participate in discussions on any health care insurance issue.
Actual wording, which needs to be revised to CLEARLY state the facts:
“… Twenty million Americans gained health insurance under the law. …”
Gained is the operative word. This is true, but misleading.
As stated in my post above, 19 million of the 20 million previously were insured, through Medicare or private health insurance (HI).
The perverse effect of ACA was to first force cancellation of policies PREVIOUSLY deemed to be in compliance with IRC (tax law), thus canceling their previously valid tax deductions. Then, it required those (then/now) without insurance to buy CRAPPY insurance policies that included several unnecessary coverages*, driving up the costs to THOSE WHO COULD PAY, but NOT impacting the wealth of THOSE WHO QUALIFIED for free or highly subsidized ACA coverage.
* – “unnecessary coverages” are an underlying reason for the use of the Rolling Stones song by PresidenTrump’s campaign.
Look for the phrase “You Can’t Always Get What You Want…” in the text of at least one version of the plans melded together for the Republican ACA R&R Plan.
Latest catch phrase used on Capital Hill is “ACA R&R”.
Polar, whatever plan that is the survivor of several will not please all the people all the time. The left will be especially incorrigible and keep insisting that government control of Healthcare is the only option. Of course, with a vast majority of people now rejecting Obamacare as unworkable and the carriers dropping out like flies, the replacement plan should look good by comparison.
The phrase that seems to be a focus of ACA R&R Wonks lately is ‘essential coverages’. That is in sharp contrast to ACA provisions to include all sorts of unnecessary coverage.
I am speculating now that the approach that will result from all the current deliberations behind closed doors will be similar to actuaries and underwriters reflecting on price differentials between the various HO policy forms (1, 2, 3 …. 8). In other words, their decision may be to opt for one policy form language regarding coverage included OR to have private HI cos. offer multiple policy forms with varying coverage and varying associated costs. Then, there may be endorsements to add peripheral coverage that is outside the price range of most people.
The infrastructure worked well between agents and companies. So the better questions is why have it to begin with? Why take the work out of Licensed Regulated trained professional agents and give them jobs to a call center?
I wonder how many people you & I could have had working / paying taxes – not riding unemployment – if they had not pulled that product off our desk. How many American Jobs got sent to foreign call centers? How many people got bad advice from the call centers and didnt figure it out till it was too late?

See my post above on the ‘person in politics’ who criticized Hill’s 1993 Health Ins plan…. and gained notoriety for doing so…. it has the latest 411 on the ETA i.e. mid March to early April.
The health insurance industry needs an overhaul. Medical costs are skyrocketing, drugs are costing a lot, Doctors are struggling to live on what the PPO or HMO pays them and thus they have to squeeze in more patients which adversely affects all their patients.
Giving away free coverage or subsidized coverage as Obama did only makes it worse.
The system needs to include a way for the patient to be able to “shop” the services to keep costs under control. A MRI might cost $5,000 in one place and $1,000 at another.
Jack, in a perfect world, everyone could shop for services to get a lower cost. In rural areas of the country, that is not always possible. The Progressive Democrats made a mess of Biblical proportions and now the Republicans have to sort it all out and clean up the mess.
Why during the administration of Obamacare, if the Republicans were serious, did they not come up with their own plan? Obama asked if they had something better to let him know!!! Nothing happened. Was it politics that kept them from proposing anything or, is it that, even now, they have no idea what to do.
Agent, have you been on extended vacation for the past 7 years? Why would Republicans vote 60 times to repeal the ACA if the veto pen was ready to shoot the repeal down?

@Katie; is that your BEST objection to a Republican R&R plan?
If so, review Congressional vote records. Review when Harry Reid was head of the Senate and what he allowed to be voted on during that time.
I assumed everyone knew this already, but I’ll just state it for the record; they KNEW what they were doing would cause a failure and the eventual call for a ‘bailout’ by a Single Payer plan; i.e. complete government control of healthcare.
If you doubt what I said, then it is YOUR OBLIGATION TO PROVE ME WRONG by explaining all the government mis-steps that yielded greater adverse selection against ACA COOPs, and the resulting death spiral, coupled with private insurers results being adversely affected and their subsequent pull outs of numerous states.
Go ahead; go for it! I dare any Libitteral to try to disprove the Single Payer Agenda of ACA / Emmanuel, Gruber, Jarrett, Pelosi, Reid, Obama, etc.
Polar, no truer words have been spoken on this subject as you just did. The agenda was destroyed on 11-8-17 despite all the leftists wanting it. Elitist Progressives thought they knew what was best for America and it fit right into their scheme to control everyone’s lives.
By the way, Ryan was ready to roll out the new plan today, but the one track mind of the media wouldn’t let it and wanted to badger, badger, badger on the Flynn resignation. We will be lucky to see what Ryan has by the end of the week.
Why couldn’t Ryan post the plan online, or file an actual bill in the House/Senate, or give one of those “non-fake news” sites like Breibart the inside scoop on the plan for them to report on?

Sure, an overhaul will solve everything.
That should be easy to do… just like ACA did…
Oh, wait!
Now, does everyone understand why the composite plan is being assembled slowly / meticulously?
The issue I have now and have always had are the lies from the Republicans and Candidate/President-elect Trump. We were told multiple times that they have a plan. The bill should have been done and debated in Congress by now. They have had 7 years. Oh wait, they were too busy scoring political points with 60+ repeal efforts that had zero chance of getting signed or the veto overridden.
What happened to repeal on day one and replace on day 2?
I did not expect them to keep their promises just as I do not expect them to have any interest in governing. They just keep proving me to be right.
You point out the delay in the ACA R&R as a means of discrediting TrumPresident.
Fact is that several options were added to the ‘pile’ between 11/9/16 and 1/20/17 that couldn’t be factored in to the ETA because of uncertainty of the time needed to read and incorporate any of those new ideas into the composite plan.
Also, 50 states are causing delays, due to bureaucracy, indecision, etc.
I have criticized Presidents Obama and Clinton for their lies. I do not feel I need to say anything about Hillary Clinton’s lies since I never voted for her for President or Senator in NY.
For some reason, you think you are debating a Democrat.
It’s not the lies that are the problem, it is the hypocrisy of those who keep repeating Candidate/President Obama’s lies, but are fast to discount and /or forgive Candidate/President Trump’s.
The Trump Administration is beginning to sink and you seem very well content on going down with the ship.

Polar, the young troll just can’t help himself. By the way, do you remember when the now failed ACA was rolled out and Biden whispered in the President’s ear, this is a big f****** deal. The repeal and replacement is a big deal as well and should be done publicly, not online.
I’d guess that means he voted MULTIPLE times (more than twice) for a Socialist – in each of the 2008 and 2012 and 2016 POTUS elections. He better hope he doesn’t get caught – one woman was recently sentenced to prison for a few years for voter fraud.
And for what it’s worth: She could legally own property, she could legally serve in the military, she could legally get a job, she had to pay US taxes, but she didn’t know she couldn’t vote. It’s easy to understand why she thought she could vote.

@Confused: more proof…. with more to come in the near future…
Poll workers were trained to “err on the side of letting people use the affidavit instead of denying them the chance to vote,” Oldham said.
“We don’t consider it something that we want to go out and prosecute people over,” Oldham said. “But I wish we didn’t have this affidavit process. It makes the whole photo ID law entirely meaningless.”
The affidavit process was adopted after an appeals court ruled that the voter ID law discriminated against minorities. The change was intended to help voters who could not obtain identification for a variety of reasons, including disability or illness, lack of transportation or conflicts with work schedules.
Polar, so Humana & Aetna woke up and said the death spiral is well on its way. Republicans to the rescue to clean up the monumental mess made by Progressive Democrats without any bi-partisan support. These same Progressive Democrats will now try to torpedo anything the Republicans do and continue to rant that Single Payer is the only viable option. Good thing they are not in charge anymore.
“Democrats will now try to torpedo anything the Republicans do”
The Republicans have control of ALL THREE branches of government right now. The only group who can torpedo the Republicans are the Republicans themselves.
Attention; Libitterals! There will be a quiz tomorrow on POTUSes Day on pages 11-20of the above referenced manual. Study hard and you’ll succeed in the Community Organizer’s New Venture.
Not only do ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES, they will now have BENEFITS for average American citizens; e.g. fewer limited public resources directed to welfare for ILLEGALS, fewer dollars of taxpayers money spent on PP, NPR, the UN, PBS, and other liberal propaganda institutions poorly disguised as public service non-profit organizations.
Aetna and Humana’s CEOs just realized there is a ACA death spiral in progress? I’m glad to hear they came out of their comas.
LMAO at the now-in-progress POTUS press conference being held AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MEDIA INVOLVED. TrumPresident is handing every one of them their asses, and directly telling them they deserve that type of treatment! LOL!
Yes, he did a great job; aside from Fox every major outlet is now wondering if he is insane, Republicans have come out saying he has mental problems, and the media has been showing his numerous lies over and over.
He sure has a high disapproval rate, and a low approval rate for a guy supposedly doing so much right. Or, maybe you are wrong, like you are on everything, which explains your constant lies.
Typical tactic of someone who is criticized for their failures; question their sanity, to put them on the defensive while you recover from your major defeat and prepare a defense of your failures.
@ Libbitterals; this is ONE plan. Did you consider the plan previously publicized by Paul, that led to this joint plan with Sanford, when you said there was NO PLAN?
THOSE LIBITTERALS who have said “there are no plans” are lying or ignorant. I am edifying them, to reduce their ignorance of facts, so any of Libitterals who continue to say “there is no plan” can be rightly categorized as Bald-faced Liars.
Please review it in DETAIL, as there will be a quiz for all Libitterals who continue to say “there is no plan…” like parrots of the DNC or CNN or Huff & Puff POSt or MSNBC or NPR or PBS or Schmucky Schumer or…
Hooray for Price, and for the lower prices to (eventually) follow from repeal of ACA and replacement of it with dozens of bills to address costs (price) of health insurance!\\\\

20 million ACA policies:

PS complaints about lies coming from TrumPresident is ‘rich’ given the googleplex of LIES that came from Hill & Bill & Barry & … other Dems.
I have criticized Presidents Obama and Clinton for their lies. I do not feel I need to say anything about Hillary Clinton’s lies since I never voted for her for President or Senator in NY.
For some reason, you think you are debating a Democrat.
Lies come out of ALL politicians mouths and there’s little you can do to make ANY of them tell the truth.
Have you EVER lied? If so, why should anyone trust you going forward?
Let he who is without the sin of lying cast the first ballot to recall his/ her lying local politician.
It’s not the lies that are the problem, it is the hypocrisy of those who keep repeating Candidate/President Obama’s lies, but are fast to discount and /or forgive Candidate/President Trump’s.
The Trump Administration is beginning to sink and you seem very well content on going down with the ship.
Tell SpongeBob I said “Hi”.
“…Beginning to sink…” LOL!
Like Ted Kennedy’s Oldsmobile?
I am not hypocritical in not reporting Trump lies.
I’m 100% confident that Libitterals will report all of them, and then some.
Polar, the young troll just can’t help himself. By the way, do you remember when the now failed ACA was rolled out and Biden whispered in the President’s ear, this is a big f****** deal. The repeal and replacement is a big deal as well and should be done publicly, not online.
HEALTH CARE SPECIFICCS
For Crazy Joe Biden, a game of tic-tac-toe is a big f**** deal, and the equivalent of a game of master level chess for others.
Polar, need a laugh of the day? One poster said he didn’t vote for a Socialist twice. Total state of denial for the sore loser.
Troll
I’d guess that means he voted MULTIPLE times (more than twice) for a Socialist – in each of the 2008 and 2012 and 2016 POTUS elections. He better hope he doesn’t get caught – one woman was recently sentenced to prison for a few years for voter fraud.
I’ll use a phrase millenials will understand…
Bazinga!
One illegal vote identified – 2,999,999 to go.
And for what it’s worth: She could legally own property, she could legally serve in the military, she could legally get a job, she had to pay US taxes, but she didn’t know she couldn’t vote. It’s easy to understand why she thought she could vote.
Since Libitterals are sooooo concerned with that issue, THEY can continue to waste their time chasing down ILLEGAL votes.
NOTHING Libitterals do can prevent TrumPresident from accomplishing his mandated agenda, which was given to him via the Electoral College System used in our REPUBLIC.
It was Trump who made the 3,000,000 illegal vote comment and kept repeating it, so either (a) Trump is a Libitteral or (b) you have your “facts” wrong again.
@Confused; so, take up that issue with TrumPresident DIRECTLY.
Let us all know how he responds… or how his staff responds.
Remember to omit four-letter words if you expect to receive a reply, and do not lie about your identity, background, and age.
So (b) “you have your “facts” wrong again” it is, then.

The Price is right.
@Confused: did you get your manual? If not, contact one of your cohorts;
http://nypost.com/2017/02/18/obama-linked-activists-have-a-training-manual-for-protesting-trump/
@Confused; please explain why Dems did an ALL_NIGHTER fillibuster over the confirmation of the next EPA Director last night.
Here’s an example of rich 1% interference in The Will of The People:

Where’s the Occupy Wall Street, paid Sore-ass, protesters nowto protest that little Zucker?
Fake Fact Checker.
Very Fake Fact Checker.
Rand Paul and Mark Sanford recently published THIS plan…. after some revisions to Paul’s prior published version….

@ Libbitterals; this is ONE plan. Did you consider the plan previously publicized by Paul, that led to this joint plan with Sanford, when you said there was NO PLAN?
More PLAN info for Libitterals to consider:

THOSE LIBITTERALS who have said “there are no plans” are lying or ignorant. I am edifying them, to reduce their ignorance of facts, so any of Libitterals who continue to say “there is no plan” can be rightly categorized as Bald-faced Liars.
Here’s more PLAN INFO for Libitterals to consider:

Now, I think I’ve posted enough info for Libitterals to consider as regards Republican’s PLANS in progress.
Oh, wait! I forgot about Paul Ryan’s “A Better Way” Plan…..! …
http://paulryan.house.gov/healthcare/
Please review it in DETAIL, as there will be a quiz for all Libitterals who continue to say “there is no plan…” like parrots of the DNC or CNN or Huff & Puff POSt or MSNBC or NPR or PBS or Schmucky Schumer or…
After all of the above, it wouldn’t be right for me to hide/ omit this…
