Didn’t the world wide hackers demand to be paid in Bitcoins in their black mail scheme?

Oh, did they? Well then Bitcoin must be an illicit, failed monetary system. You know, I actually heard extortion typically happens in USD, so anyone who uses USD is probably an extortionist AND a millennial. Or maybe I’m just a hyperbolic old coot who is bitterly standing in the way of progress, clutching shreds of right in my hand to lead me and a sack full of wrong on my back that I never have to see, kicking at anything I don’t understand.

Your contribution regarding a novel technological development that is poised to be a key and ongoing infrastructure component of the digital world was PERFECT. Let this be your legacy.

Yes, and due to Blockchain (which is not the same as Bitcoin) it is unlikely they will ever get their money and get to keep it.
