There is plain laziness on the part of insurance agents. Because homeowners and dwelling insurance is in the lower income spectrum of commission earnings it gets ignored. Agent’s commit a dereliction of duty when they “forget” all about the client and rely on the CSR to be the sole contact avoiding or refusing to take their calls. Forty plus years in this business and I have seen where agents think getting a name and telephone number for the CSR to quote them is all they need to do. They should be a shamed of themselves and their lack of professionalism.
