With all the underwriting challenges AIG has faced for several years now, I find it good they found a new chief underwriting officer. However I don’t see how his European and London underwriting experience will translate well into where AIG’s most exposures lie, domestically which is an entirely different creature. Would have thought they would have went with a person with domestic experience.

Well, AIG lost a bunch of people to other markets and finally landed one who has cast his lot with losers.
