The Man Behind the InsureTech Connect Conference Phenomenon

By | October 23, 2018

The 2018 InsureTech Connect (ITC) conference is history. In its short three-year life, the ITC affair has grown from 1,500 to 6,000 attendees. This year, an estimated 500 CEOs were there.

“It’s hard to believe,” says Jay Weintraub, CEO and co-founder of the conference. “I think what’s so exciting is that more and more of the insurance leadership is showing up.”

While attendees are interested in the hundreds of speakers and exhibitors, they really show up because of the opportunities to connect with and learn from each other, according to Weintraub.

In these interviews at the ITC, Weintraub connected with Wells Media’s Andy Simpson to discuss the phenomenon that is the ITC and how ITC is helping to change the insurance industry.
