All these points are pretty good (but clearly expressed from an anti-Trump point of view) except…climate change. What the hell, the climate has always changed, it will always change even after human beings are no longer on this earth. What can this possibly have to do with the insurance biz? If there is more volatile weather then charge more premium. There, climate change “risk” is solved.

“If there is more volatile weather then charge more premium.” That’s exactly why it’s listed as a risk. It wasn’t “human-made climate change” as the risk factor … the cause of the changes aren’t really important for the industry, but its effects definitely are. Any list of insurance-based risks that doesn’t mention severe weather and catastrophes would be incomplete.

So IJ strays further and further left. Hey fellows, the chief political risk is from the left both by Progressive Democratic politicians and the all in leftist media. That is where the risk is.

“The top geopolitical risk, I am afraid, is in the White House,” Wessel said. “I don’t think that people in Washington have confidence that this administration could handle a crisis as ably as the Bush or Obama administrations. That would be at the top of my list.”

And how did Obama handle each crisis in such an “able” fashion: Economic? 2% growth compared to 3% for Trump. Syria? Do nothing. (Trump wants to pull out.) See the difference? North Korea? Do nothing. (Trump engages to try to fix the problem.) China stealing all of our business and military secrets and wiping out our manufacturing sector? Do nothing. (Trump engages and confronts to try to stop it.). Illegal Immigration? Do nothing. (Trump confronts and engages and tries to fix.) NATO not paying what they said they would? Do nothing. (Trump calls them on meeting their obligations.) Iran? Give the evil Mullahs $150 billion that they use to foment terror in Syria. (Trump laughs and does what the Iranian people want: sticks more sanctions on the Mullahs).

See? Trump is out of control! Doing nothing is “handling a crisis so ably”. What a joke the left has become. (Hey look! Children with MAGA hats. Are they white? Yes? Then GET THEM!)

Good comment craig. Liberal Socialists do not want to hear the truth. Their college professors have them convinced that Socialism is best even though it has been an abject failure everywhere it has been tried. Need proof? Take a look at Venezuela currently in a revolution over Socialist/Communist rule.
