This is a bad move by the pharmas. Consumers will see this as an attempt to hide excessive prices with exorbitant profits. Skreli also didn’t/ doesn’t help their cause. Honesty is always the best policy. (I suspect ‘someone’ will twist my last sentence and use it to ask a completely unrelated question …. about politics).
In a discussion with my doctor, I asked why my inhaler was so expensive ($475 Month) and he told me to go to Mexico where it sells for $45.!!!! for the exact same thing and which is manufactured in the USA.
Being from the valley I have many friends back home that will cross the border to see doctors and fill their prescriptions in Mexico. Even their insurance through their employers copay is larger than what they pay outright.

Advertise with honesty. Hey, the profits will still be there and this might reduce prices in the long run.
I don’t trust Big Pharma.
Easy solution, stop advertising.

All I know is that thanks to all the drug companies advertising, my kids now know what “Peyronie’s disease” is…
So what are the drug makers afraid of? Are they afraid of one of their competitors breaking ranks, and cutting prices?
