Brownyard Group Expands Cemetery, Crematory, Library Programs into New States

Brownyard Group has expanded its insurance program for cemeteries and crematories, Memorialpro, and insurance program for non-profit libraries, By The Cover, will now be available in additional states.

In addition to states where the programs had previously been available – Connecticut, New Jersey and New York – both programs will now be available in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

Memorialpro will also be available in Texas and Virginia.

Memorialpro is designed to meet the risks of cemeteries, crematories and cemetery management. The program offers policyholders access to a broad coverage package at competitive rates, including:

• General liability with $3 million aggregate limits
• Professional liability, including coverage for “mental anguish” claims
• Business auto with broad coverage
• Commercial property, including outdoor property & debris removal
• Inland marine for mobile property and fine arts
• Employee dishonesty (crime) with coverage for theft, fraud and more

By The Cover offers a package that includes general liability, commercial property, auto, inland marine, crime and fidelity coverages for non-profit libraries.

Additional coverages include:

• General liability with $3 million aggregate limits
• Book and media coverage to insure all inventory at each library
• Medical payments for athletic participants
• Good samaritan coverage for medical emergencies
• Abuse or molestation coverage
• Flood or backup of sewers and drains ($25,000)

Commercial excess with limits up to $5 million and combined directors & officers and employment practices liability coverage are also available as supplemental policies for both programs.
