That’s outrageous! They are just creating more Billionnaires on the backs of those workers! Under my plan, we’ll hire just a few hundred workers to administer ALL auto insurance in the US through the GAIPBAD – Government Auto Insurance Protection Bureau and Department. Better yet, it’ll be free for all drivers of any age or national origin. So what if some claims aren’t paid?!
I work for Progressive although in a more senior adjuster role. They treat us well, and I’m almost completely autonomous. The more entry level positions are certainly more metric driven but even then I’d be comfortable referring friends and family if they were interested.
High pressure, medium pay. Very much like a pressure cooker. Especially when in growth mode. I spent 12 years there (some claims, some sales/marketing, some management) . Loads of good friendships, and comrade,excellent training and support, but expect to be pushed beyond your limits.

Can anybody tell me what it’s like to work at Progressive? Are these jobs which you would want or are the workers driven like draft animals or slaves?
