BMS Group, the independent specialist re/insurance broker, announced the appointment of Jonah Pfeffer as chief casualty officer at BMS Re U.S., effective immediately.
He will report to Pete Chandler, president and CEO at BMS Re U.S., and focus on the strategic direction of BMS’s casualty offering.
Pfeffer joins BMS with 23 years of experience in the reinsurance markets, most recently as president of Reinsurance at OneBeacon Insurance Group. Prior to that, Pfeffer spent more than 10 years at Guy Carpenter, having begun his reinsurance career at E.W. Blanch Company in 1997.
