Slice Labs Inc. and AXIS Insurance have partnered to distribute AXIS Home Based Business insurance, an on-demand digital commercial insurance product designed for home businesses not covered by traditional homeowners insurance policies.
AXIS Insurance is the specialty insurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited.
AXIS Home Based Business insurance can fill the gap for home-based business owners with coverage for common small-business risks like general liability, professional liability, property, cyber and crime.
AXIS has built its offering on the Slice Insurance Cloud Services platform, and will leverage digital distribution from Slice to offer the on-demand digital insurance product. AXIS will distribute the product through an omni-channel distribution model that includes MGAs, retail agencies, platforms and other digital distribution channels.
