With respect to the State Farm ads, we’ve decided to co-opt “Rodger’s rate” as a term for an impossibly low quote given by a competitor, usually a misclassified commercial account. If we can’t convince the prospect that something is amiss, we encourage the prospect to call his agent and thank him for applying “The Rodger’s rate.”
Still, Nationwide and Peyton Manning rule the (air)waves.
