Specialty MGA Rokstone of the Aventum Group announced a significant enhancement to its North American marine operations. Allianz Commercial has committed a $25 million facility to Rokstone.
This latest deal will provide Rokstone’s North American wholesale Marine Specialty business, led by marine underwriter Mike Nukk, with robust long term support from one of the most respected carriers in the region with AA rated capacity.
The development follows the recent recruitment to Rokstone of Nukk, who joined from AIG, Alex Berisha from Liberty and Derek Vandermyde from Starr Insurance.
Rokstone plans to grow the marine portfolio in North America aggressively from a start up to $100 million m in five years, focused on middle market North American business.
This strategic collaboration reinforces Rokstone’s position in the North American insurance landscape, leveraging the combined expertise of its leading underwriters and the robust backing of Allianz. The partnership reflects a commitment to delivering exceptional security, value and service to clients in the wholesale marine specialty sector.
