Hundreds of agency owners, producers and staff participated in last year’s Agency Salary Survey which found that satisfaction with pay declined even though total compensation increased across the board in agencies.
“Compensation does not make up for low staff and high workload,” one survey respondent told Insurance Journal in early 2024.
