McCrosson Joins AXA XL Reinsurance as Senior Underwriter, US Property Treaty

AXA XL Reinsurance hired Dan McCrosson to the U.S. property treaty reinsurance team in Stamford, Connecticut, as a senior underwriter, U.S. Property Treaty.
McCrosson’s career spans several years at large commercial (re)insurers, where he held various underwriting roles. During his tenure, McCrosson worked on all aspects of property classes of business on a primary basis, including construction and inland marine, and spent the last five years of his career writing property treaty business for both national and regional companies at Swiss Re.
Ryan Appointed Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, Howden US

Howden, with a U.S. base in Miami, named Colleen Ryan as chief communications and marketing officer for its recently launched U.S. retail offering.
Ryan will spearhead a full-spectrum marketing and communications strategy to drive the new Howden retail brand and build its reputation in the U.S.
Ryan’s background spans major enterprise, the public sector and policy-areas and over 20 years of experience building and protecting brands through periods of transformation and growth, including leading communications and marketing for Pivotal, Melinda French Gates’ venture-philanthropy firm, serving as vice president of global communications and brand for the Einstein-founded International Rescue Committee, and leading Dell Technologies’ North American healthcare, education and technology communications.
