Chubb Names Rampe Global Head of Claims

Chubb Limited named Kevin Rampe senior vice president, Chubb Group, Global Claims Officer, responsible for global claims management. Rampe will also retain his responsibilities as head of North America Claims.
In his expanded role, Rampe will lead the company’s claims organization globally and be responsible for all aspects of executive claims management, service and administration for Chubb through its worldwide network of claims offices.
He will report to Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and CEO, Chubb Limited & Chubb Group and John Keogh, president and chief operating officer, Chubb Group, and in his North America capacity to Juan Luis Ortega, executive vice president, Chubb Group, president, North America Insurance.
Rampe joined Chubb in 2005 as the company’s global compliance officer. He subsequently served as general counsel of North America and global deputy general counsel before being named head of North America Claims in 2021.
Earlier in his career, he served as both president and chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. Rampe was first deputy superintendent of the New York State Insurance Department and served as the first assistant counsel to New York State Governor George E. Pataki.
The Hartford Names Burns Head of Enterprise Sales and Distribution

The Hartford, headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, appointed Natalie Burns as head of enterprise sales & distribution, reporting to Tracey Ant, head of middle & large business, effective May 1.
Burns will be responsible for enhancing relationships with The Hartford’s top distribution partners and working with the company’s personal and business insurance, as well as employee benefits sales teams to drive growth across business segments. Burns replaces Stephen Screen, who was recently named head of alternative placement solutions in The Hartford’s Global Specialty business unit, reporting to Adrien Robinson, head of Global Specialty.
Burns began her career with The Hartford in 2002 as an executive underwriter and has held positions of increasing responsibility in underwriting and distribution across the enterprise. Most recently, she was head of alternative distribution, leading The Hartford’s Middle & Large Business Centers and Middle Market Underwriting Center (MMUC).
