The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies has made available the “You’re Essential to Safety” (Y.E.S.) Program in Texas.
The Y.E.S. program was developed to educate young drivers and their parents or guardians on driver safety. Farmers Texas County Mutual Insurance Company’s customers who participate in the Y.E.S. program will be eligible for a 5 percent discount on their teen driver’s auto insurance policy.
The young driver views a video with his or her parents or guardians and reviews a workbook covering the material. At the end of the program, the Youthful Driver Supplement must be completed and signed by the agent, youthful driver and parents or guardians. The young driver may keep the workbook for future reference. Discounts will be awarded to youthful drivers who complete the video program and maintain the program’s requirements.
