Austin, Texas-based Combined Agents of America LLC (CAA) announced that three of its members were recently elected to leadership positions with the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT). Elections were held at IIAT’s 105th Annual Convention in Houston.
CAA is closed managing general agency comprised of 28 independent insurance agents located throughout Texas.
Elected members include:
Bill Harrison, Jr., president and chief operating officer for Coleman Company Insurance Services in San Antonio, was elected VP of IIAT and will serve as the organization’s president in two years. Harrison recently completed a two-year term on the Board of Directors for IIAT.
Scott Burton, president of Benchmark Insurance Group in San Marcos, joins IIAT’s Board of Directors, a three-year term. Burton previously served on IIAT’s Education Committee and was the committee’s Chairman in 2001.
Kelli Stanford, president of Ed Weeren Insurance Group in Austin, was elected Chairman of the IIAT Education Committee, a committee on which she has served for the past two years.
