Dallas-based Republic Group of Insurance Companies announced the appointment of James G. Drawert as vice president, Commercial Lines and Specialty Operations. He will manage Republic’s Commercial Lines, Specialty Operations and Non-Standard Auto departments.
Drawert began his insurance career with Travelers Insurance Company and has held senior management positions with Trinity Universal Insurance Company, CNA Insurance Company and, most recently, Millers American Group.
Founded in 1903, Republic provides personal property and auto insurance for individuals and commercial insurance for main-street businesses in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico. Republic Underwriters Insurance Company is the group’s lead company.
