After 42 years in insurance and more than 28 years at Dickinson, Texas-based MaximInsurance, Dorothy “Dot” Warner is retiring.
MaximInsurance reported that Warner is a longtime area resident and insurance veteran who served as a customer service representative (CSR) for commercial accounts, working with both new and long-standing agency customers to answer questions and handle policy endorsements needed when operational changes and remarketing renewals occurred. Over the years, she also has trained and led other CSRs on the MaximInsurance team.
“She will leave behind big shoes to fill,” said Ron Masters, president of MaximInsurance. “Her steadfast commitment and outstanding contribution to our organization has not gone unnoticed—and her expertise has always added significant value to our team.”
Warner started her career in 1962 in the inland marine department at Traveler’s Insurance in Jacksonville, Fla., where she later served as a commercial lines rater. Prior to joining MaximInsurance, she also held positions with Traveler’s Insurance in Orlando, Fla., and in the insurance department of Guaranty Savings and Loan in Galveston, Texas.
