James R. (Bob) Sullivan has been named the new president of Texas-based Columbia Lloyds Insurance Company effective Jan. 15, 2005, the company announced.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Sullivan has 23 years experience in various underwriting and marketing positions with the St. Paul Cos. throughout Texas and in St. Paul, Minn. He has also served in various capacities in independent agencies, most recently as president of John S. Dunn & Son Inc., a Houston-based independent agency.
Columbia Lloyds Insurance Company is a Texas domiciled insurance company specializing in homeowners and property insurance with over $25 million in total assets and over $31.5 million in written premium representing approximately 300 agents throughout Texas.
