Southwestern Insurance Information Service announced it will host an educational seminar in Dallas, Texas, addressing the subject of insuring to value in several changing environments including external, regulatory, building stock and today’s consumer.
The luncheon event will take place May 13, 2005, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Intercontinental Hotel, 15201 Dallas Parkway, and will offer 1.5 hours of Texas Department of Insurance continuing education credits.
The featured presenter will be Kornel Heard, director of claims for Marshall and Swift/Boeckh, where he oversees the Analytics Division in New Berlin, Wis. He has held numerous positions auto, property and casualty, total loss and total theft.
The seminar will provide the most current information about property insurance to value definitions and insurance applications, as well as an examination of what underwriting and claims data does and how to properly use this information.
