Bonnie McHenry, a former vice president of Underwriting at Travelers, and director at MetLife Auto and Home, has joined Austin, Texas-based Myriad Development in the role of vice president, Underwriting Services.
McHenry brings 25 years of insurance industry experience to Myriad and is the first of a handful of key strategic hires planned by Myriad in the second half of this year.
Myriad, which sells technology solutions to the real estate and insurance industries, announced it has had a record-breaking first half, having closed contracts with some of the largest insurance companies in the country. The company said its technology is now being used at six of the nation’s top 25 insurance companies.
In the announcement, CEO Chris Roussel stated, “This is a pivotal time in Myriad’s history. We are coming off a record breaking first half and are securing contracts with many of the nation’s top insurance carriers. Bonnie’s in-depth industry experience will help us to ensure that our software and technology solutions continue to meet the very complex needs of underwriting departments in the property/casualty arena.”
