Shreveport, La.-based Specialty Risk Associates Inc. announced that Kelli Mitchell and Carolyn Gray have joined the firm as commercial line underwriters.
Mitchell will be working at the new headquarters building on Fern Avenue in the Shreveport home office. Mitchell joins Specialty Risk Associates from another local general agency where she worked as first an assistant and then an underwriter for a total of twelve years. Before that she worked at a general agency in the Nashville, Tenn., area as a G/L and property underwriter for two years.
Gray will be working at the Shreveport home office. Gray comes from another general agency where she managed the Bossier City office. Prior to that she was in marketing and underwriting and has managed general agencies in Jackson, Miss., and Charlotte, N.C. She has 30 years’ experience in the insurance business.
