Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Company and AgencyPort, a provider of agent portal and interface solutions to property and casualty insurers, announced that LWCC has initially deployed AgencyPortal’s new Renewal and Endorsement component to selected pilot agencies.
With completion of the renewal and endorsement project, LWCC’s agents and underwriters are able to migrate to automated Web-based renewal and endorsement processing. The new AgencyPortal Renewal and Endorsement component allows for more streamlined, electronic workflow between LWCC’s agents and underwriters, significantly improving responsiveness and accuracy while decreasing processing costs.
According to the announcement, the AgencyPortal Renewal and Endorsement Module enables LWCC to:
· Provide electronic notification of a renewal to the agent 60 days in advance via LWCC’s agent portal;
· Renew the policy or process an endorsement request automatically from the agent in real-time mode;
· Distribute PDF images of the policy or renewal quote to agents up to 60 days in advance of the renewal date, significantly reducing printing, handling and postage costs;
· Improve agent efficiency and underwriter responsiveness by allowing a secure on-line access to renewals and endorsements.
