McQueary Henry Bowles Troy L.L.P. (MHBT), a privately owned insurance and risk management firm based in Dallas, announced that its sixth annual charity golf tournament raised more than $47,000 for local charities, including Ronald McDonald House of Texas, Autism Treatment Center and the West Dallas Initiative.
More than 100 participants from 19 Metroplex companies participated in the golf tournament held at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas provides a home-away-from-home for families who have traveled to Dallas seeking medical treatment for their children. More than just a place to sleep, the Ronald McDonald House provides a safe, comfortable, home-like environment for families who are caring for seriously ill children.
Autism Treatment Center assists people with autism and related disorders throughout their lives as they learn, play, work and live in the community. The Dallas and San Antonio locations offer educational, vocational, diagnostics, research, residential and therapeutic services to clients of all ages.
The West Dallas Initiative empowers the lives of more than 500 impoverished youths each year. Its primary initiatives are West Dallas Outreach, which offers a variety of after-school and enrichment activities, and the West Dallas Community School, an institution that provides classical education from pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade.
