The Texas Surplus Lines Association will hold its annual meeting Nov. 11 and 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin.
The Nov. 12 session includes:
Gary Schumann, partner in the law firm of Savrick, Schumann, Johnson, McGarr, Kaminski & Shirley, will present: “Tips from the Trenches,” a discussion of some of the recent issues and events that have affected insurance defense and coverage practice in the past year.
Tim Martin, vice president, Burlington Insurance Group, will speak on: “Wind Exposed Property & Construction Defects … The Texas Two Step … Company Style.”
Greg Hooser, an attorney with Sneed, Vine & Perry, will present: “Legislative Recap,” an update on what happened during the recent Texas legislative session and the upcoming political season.
Phil Ballinger with the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas will discuss: “Stamping Office/Multi-State Compact Update.”
