Dallas-based McQueary Henry Bowles Troy, L.L.P. (MHBT) announced that its 7th annual charity golf tournament raised approximately $47,000 that benefited ten local charities, including: The Trains at NorthPark, supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas; Dallas Symphony; Autism Treatment Center of Dallas; Medina Children’s Home; SWOPE Communities Health Foundation; Bryan’s House; Salesmanship Club; Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation; Boy Scouts of America and the Lucky Cat Relief Fund.
The golf tournament was held Nov.12, 2007, at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.
One of the primary beneficiaries of the golf tournament is The Trains at NorthPark, an annual holiday train display whose proceeds provide over a third of the operating budget for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
Since 2002, MHBT has been a major contributor to the elaborate toy train exhibit that includes vintage locomotives whizzing past miniature landmarks such as Mount Rushmore, New York City’s Times Square and Washington, D.C.
This year’s exhibit will be open to the public at Northpark Center, North Central Expressway at Northwest Highway, Nov. 17, 2007 – Jan. 1, 2008.
