The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that any workers’ compensation interest or discount will be at the rate of 4.82 percent for the third quarter of 2008.
This rate is computed by using the treasury constant maturity rate for one-year treasury bills as published by the Federal Reserve Board on March 17, 2008, (1.32 percent) plus 3.5 percent.
The rate is effective April 1, 2008, through June 30, 2008.
