Houston, Texas-based managing general agent Milton O. Johnston & Co. Ltd. has been appointed by The Main Street America Group to write commercial general liability, commercial auto (liability and physical damage) and cargo insurance coverage in Texas and Illinois.
Other states are expected to be added in the future.
Milton O. Johnston & Co. has been providing commercial insurance since 1981.
Main Street America (“A”-rated by A.M. Best), established in 1923, is based in Jacksonville, Fla., and operates six property/casualty insurance carriers: NGM Insurance Co., Old Dominion Insurance Co., Main Street America Assurance Co., MSA Insurance Co., Great Lakes Casualty Insurance Co. and Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Co.
