York Specialized Loss Adjusting (York SLA), a division of New Jersey-based York Risk Services Group Inc., announced it has acquired BC Johnson Associates, a provider of specialized loss adjusting and risk assessment services to the global energy industry. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Based in the Houston of suburb Manvel, Texas, BC Johnson Associates specializes in providing energy loss adjusting and energy risk assessment services to all types of energy sector operations, including oil and gas drilling, production, operations and equipment, both onshore and offshore, as well as many other energy-related risks.
York has extended offers of employment to all BC Johnson Associates staff, many of whom have degrees in petroleum engineering and other relevant subjects. BC Johnson will retain its name and operate as a division of York SLA.
With the addition of BC Johnson, York SLA has 98 practitioners.
