I received a 20K settlement check from the Oklahoma Attorney General today. We had attempted at least 6 loan modification with Wells Fargo over the last few years. They would lose our paperwork and make us restart the process over and over, each time requiring a large down payment and charging us large fees. We now have a private attorney and are part of a separtate class action suit against Wells Fargo. If you are in a similar situtation, I highly recommend hiring an attorney. If you live in Oklahoma the Attorney General will even pay for it.
